To think that I actually had an X-gene. But if I had an X-gene then does that mean that my efforts to obtain powers through the lizard serum were for nothing. I could have easily obtained them when my X-gene awakened.

if we consider that in this story people live till 200 its pretty accurate the guy in the original was in his 30s and the only part missing from the whole is that he stole the recipe book and was pursuit for it cause he isn't the main line of the sect
