enya..... FACE!

I'm not sure how much time must have passed, but as I was pondering on these words, and their meaning, I remembered one more thing: 'You just need to will IT. Remember only you have this ability, do not tell it to anyone. This is your own special gift, the one you wished for. Make sure to will 'Enya' to appear in your mind and learn everything before you arrive in the new world.' He said 'Enya', and that I will be able to see myself in the 'way asked for'... What does that mean? I just have to think about it? Well, it can't hurt to try.. it's not like I have anything else to do here.

lol the novel is quite vague and poorly thought out isn't it? it says that the virus transferred itself into the test object, which was a recording camera, so no AI core to even speak of.

Just like that, [Virus] was rich with 21.1 billion dollars in it's bank account. And the weird thing was that this account was a ghost to others and no one could even prove it existed nor track it down.

err..... we have always been talking about this in the context of the novel.

lol in the sentinel island? a tropical place where there is no power supply and no proper way for it to even cool down? yeah not going to happen.

lol I dont have as much time as I used to. you are picking the explanation that seem to agree with and just ignoring all the other reasons I gave as to why this wouldn't work.

I said "even if we negate" as a response to your request to assume that the previous problems were solved. i didn't add that as a main point, just as an after thought. I wasn't really telling you to neglect that

look back man, you were the one who said to assume it first. i told you that would just mean the whole thing would work on only assumptions and you said to just go with th assumptions and I gave you reasons as to why even assuming would not make it work.

lets not forget that this comes after lota of assumptions to get the AI up and running. so this is still very impossible.

And I listed all the reasons why even assuming that wont work. if you start tk make those assumptions then you would have to make a lots of follow up assumptions.

but a core of an AI isn't like those things they show in the movies. it isn't some chip which can have the whole AI hardwired into it. because if it was hardwired then there would be zero chances of future upgrade, it defeats the purpose of having an smart evolvable AI I am sure the scientists would have taken that into account when they built it. so what other alternatives do they have to make an AI core? a modular one, and that is only If they are planning on actually hardwiring the entirety of the AI. but modular design not only takes more space, but it also means more advanced technology has to be used. which also means very real potential for incompatiblily with older technology. after talking about those, lets assume that the AI core is suddenly transported into the past. but, so what? first thing, can anyone ignore a big block of computer machine materializing out of no where? then second, even if you assume that it brought it's core, and assume that no one finda it strange, where did it gets it's power to run? how would it have plugged on to the power network. and lets not forget that this is supposedly the most powerful AI, then the power consumption must be atrocious, so where would it get the power? and dont think that the people building not would have added a portable battery. because from the story background, the AI was able to hide its presence from people only by hiding in the Main AI's server. so I am pretty sure that the scientists and people responsible for AI would have taken precautionary measure like not giving it a portable power supply. so there it goes, ecen if the AI core itself is transported into the world, it would just be a huge hunk of useless machine that is out of power and unable to even boot up. but lets assume that some idiot did plug it in. just think of the power consumption though. it would probably need a industrial power supply and not anyone can do that. that moment anyone tries to plug it into a commercial power supply, they would just short out all the cables, leaving them with nothing. so no power, no boot up, no connecting with the internet.

I didn't say it wouldn't have the knowledge. I am going from your statement of the processors being hardwired to process bits. sure it has knowledge on it, but it just having that knowledge doesn't mean it can run on a processor hardwired to process only bits while the AI itself is designed to process only qubits or something more advanced. The people who created it wouldn't have wasted time making it compatible for machines in the past. Sure they could have added the knowledge of the old programming language, how the old processors work but that doesn't mean anything. it having knowledge on it doesn't mean it will be compatible with it. it is like copying the entire coding of the Apple os into a windows computer and expecting the windows computer to run it easily without any compatibility issues. you know, the more I think about this and talk to you about this, the more aware I am becoming of the impossibility of this novel. there is no way the AI would have been able to operate on an older dinosaur of a machine found in the 21st century. as soon as the AI is brought here, it would have just sat there in some harddrive as an enormous amount of code that would have been incompatible with any device to even get it started.

just a complex group of binary data is just the stored memory. it needs an algorithm to actually make use of these binary data. that algorithm is the AI.
