The start of this novel blatantly plagiarizes Robbin Hobbs assassins apprentice. Frankly I don’t feel comfortable reading this due to that. I don’t know if later chapters will plagiarize from assassins apprentice or other novels but I’d rather not read this due to the fact it’s a real possibility considering everything from the grandfather dropping him off to character interactions within those first 8 chapters was beat for beat ripped off with very minor changes to fit the world setting.

I’m sorry this is blatant plagiarism man, u just changed some minor details to match ur cultivation world. The guy with the limp, the grabbing his chin and staring at his face. Taking him to the barn. The line about the dragons is the same line but it was hawks. All the character interactions in this chapter were ripped off from assassins apprentice.

I thought at the peak of their worlds cycle they were at the top of the universe, does that mean nobody in their universe had actually reached the limit of it cultivation realms yet?

Curious how many destroyed paths we have here, 1 for each academy or more?

His emotions were a mess, as he suspected this world's magus to regulate everything from the shadows. Since Elena lived for centuries, it wasn't too unrealistic to expect he could live much longer. Especially if he was really destroying paths and plundering their knowledge.
