Logical oversight, ignoring all the other random ones, is that only one hemisphere of the earth would face it. So long as you predict the timing of impact you can put all the arks on the other side of the earth, they would have no meteor impacts. That said the fallout stuff would be enough to mess things up anyway.

First time actual supposed intelligent NPCs in a game actually acted that way. Seen many more in the game genre and not seen this so nice job author
