Only issue. Even if they don't have much time in novel, getting them to join a mercenary corp that didn't exist in the original novel could easily cause the plotline to veer off course. You never knew if these people did something in the background that contributed to the novel's original plotline

With my knowledge of the future, I knew certain people who didn't have much time in the novel but were in fact extremely talented in their own right.
