Not exactly, the breathing methods simply evolve one’s genes and nurture the bloodline into the ultimate form in the breathing technique , it doesn’t necessarily need the corresponding bloodline it’s simply far easier to do it if you already have a bloodline similar to how superficial methods allow anyone to practice while perfect or legendary methods generally only the descendants, the reason being is the difficulty in getting started , his cheat bypass the difficulty by grinding . the clan’s ancestors didn’t really descend from the monsters in the breathing method or have their genes artificially altered, they develop the “ bloodline” after generations of practice.

No, it’s completely different, it has it’s own story and world building that is different from any before it, even the power systems of knights and wizards is different from the knights and wizards of magus world they might have similar names but the essence is different

Not the same, the mc talent allows him to use his luck, others can’t control it, so even if they have over a 1000 luck points they can’t use it and therefore can’t assign it to increase the probability making thier probability the same as someone with 50 luck points
