Dontlookdown: Not only one of the few hidden gems, it is also one of the best novels on this site.

In many ways it follows the core concepts of reincarnarion novels. Cheat treasure (in a way), the bad family member, school, and rather overpowered mc (when i say overpowered i mean in the sense of his age group, not the ridiculous type of op).

However, it takes these concepts and changes their direction. Instead of the typical ending to these cliches, it gives a new, refreshing end to them by actually apllying logic and understanding of human emotions. Its an impressive feat honestly.

The mc is also fleshed out. He is not a fully confident all knowing person, he is human. And he in a way is broken. The author tries to make a different mc that is not perfect, but flawed in many ways. Its absolutely wonderful to finally see a character that is able to grow.

And the final thing that i will touch on, mainly because it is something i love and respect the most, is the mcs original world and the way reincarnation affects the mc. Unlike other novels whose mc quickly shakes off any memory of his original world, in this one the original world is alive and well in the mc. It lives through him due to the fact that it caused his broken mentality. Every time the mc is cynical, untrusting, or unreasonably angry, you as the reader know that he is still affected by his old life.

As for him reincarnating, he does not forget about it. In fact he even dwells on it, making him create goals revolving around this mysterious and magical occurence that happened to him. It even makes him question his own existence and what it means for the future.

This is something i truly admire, and i believe it makes the novel even better in its own way.

Doc_E_Style: So, Legion. You wrote a romantic scene set in Venice. The whole package, dinner with romantic lights, a deep and meaningful conversation to portray just how much the characters fit eacht other. The heavy thoughts at the end of the evening and the attempt to drown them through physical contact. The perfect clichee, except... There was no kiss. The story segment just ended. I'm not saying that this wasn't brave. I'm just saying that I'm pretty sure that you just violated every national and international law literally everywhere. There will be consequences and the council will decide your fate.

ReadsWebNovels: The fact that Linjos allowed himself to be poisoned is proof of his incompetence. With all this sabotoge, poison should be expected. Also, if it's revealed that he does have countermeasures and they're still all magic based after experiencing the anti-magic parasites, he's still incompetent. At the very least, having noticed that he's poisoned, he should be able to identify at least one traitor (or narrow it down to obe of a handful of people.)

AuthorWiz: >Wizzzz, where are the updates?

I've been busy and I gotta pay the bills, and this story, like it or not, doesn't do that. Hence, I'm working on other stuff!

>Wizzz, then why say you are going to update it more often?

I tried to, for a while, but I needed to fix my focus and finish off one of my other books so I could publish it (and make a living!). R:EFN fell to the wayside as I did that.

>Wizzzz, are you giving up on the series?

No, never. It's in its last volume, and I am going to finish it to completion. But it will take time, because this project is being done in my free-time now.

>Wizzzz, why didn't you tell us any of this?

There is no easy way for me to post an update except in chapter form here. I supposed I could've edited the author's note of the previous chapter, but it wasn't like I planned on not posting anything.

Just know that the story will be finished, give it a while :s

I won't make any more promises on release dates.

Khavos_Rudd: Ranks very very high up on my list of books to read and recommend.
Writing:
5
In truth, should award a 4 ~ 4.5 because of several minor grammar and tense mistakes spaced throughout the chapters. Won't do so because I noted the author going back over his chapters once in a while so this aspect will not be an issue for those coming late into the book.
Additionally - and I do not write about this aspect to writing - the writing style is very much enjoyable. The humor is inter-spaced with flair and there are many closing sections that scream 'cliff-hanger' only that they were done tastefully.
Perhaps this comment is best left to the char design aspect to reviewing but that section has enough to write on so won't miss out; the author takes care with his dialogues! You don't get the sense you are reading a wuxia novel - yes, I went there! Some of those dialogue scenes are so bad you are left wishing for someone to breathe in someone else's space just so the 'young master' can get offended and wipe out an entire family.
Ahem, back to the review:
As said, the dialogue scenes are well written. This is especially so with their relevance to the plot development and world background as we get titbits thrown out there that tell us more about the world and plot building up to the next arc.

Updates:
4...but gets a 5 because he is faithful to his updates.
Sure, 1 chapter a day really leaves us bleary-eyed but if you consider the care with which the story is written, you do not want to rush the guy.

Story Dev'p:
7
No cliches.
Like really, no cliches!
Even the latest arc with a class excursion into the wild where you'd expect the MC to outshine his mates was thrown out the window and stomped on.
To illustrate, think of the norm in these scenarios: a young MC with a chip on his shoulder as a social outcast goes into the wild on a school competition. A coalition of powerful scions of powerful families decide to gang against the MC for some reason never really specified but assumed reasonable - like really, the casus belli is never truly explained and instead we have hordes of enemies trying to kill the MC while the school masters join in on the fun and only interfere when it becomes clear that the spawns are incapable of finishing the job. Then the MC is forced to run away from the province while vowing utter destruction upon the school. Fortunately, the arc was not a total waste; the MC hooked up with a secret princess of a powerful family hiding out in the boondocks and while their romance it forbidden, he does not mind.
Familiar?
Yeah, none of that horse manure here!
First off, Lith refuses to go to school! We have our dear 4th wall broken - and not in that clunky manner in which the MC tells us exactly why consuming this particular resource to gain that particular effect was especially clever of them...
Finally convinced to go to school - and this is because ultimately, his cheat device is not quite omni-potent - we are provided with the saving grace of a Big Brother pocket device that shuts down 99.99999999% of the plot elements we see whenever the MC goes to an institution as a loner.
Going back to the competition, most of the class is wiped out. The school masters have designed a training program that makes sure to humiliate the students and while Lith is quite adept at leading his mates - reluctantly at that, what with him being a webpage away from being Reverend Insanity - and this is where we are at right now. No heroisms...he actually wishes to sabotage his companions and would do so but for the fact that it would cripple his own chances.

Char design:
7 [yes, another. Something wrong with the template because it limits the scale somewhat]
guy has a personality. Easy enough to do given that he is the MC. Unless it was some dry story like Lord Xue Ying where personality traits are really hard to find, any author can craft a story with some personality in their main guy.
How many have we encountered here where the side characters have considerable time spent on them? And I do not mean the 'perfumed young mistress with pale skin and blushes at inconvenient moments whenever they spy upon a warrior holding a spear', There are numerous personalities upon whom the author spent considerable effort to get us to know them with enough depth we can sort of predict their actions. These include, but are not limited to, the Count, the Marquess, several of his classmates and others.
Not many authors spend time on character definitions and enhancement and I am happy to state that this particular novel does that with spades.

World background:
5
Not much to speak on on this aspect. However, note that we know of the world not because of a massive info-dump but rather because it has been slipped into our drinks with the expertise of a date-ra-pe drug drugger.
I especially like how I can fantasize about future conflicts down the line not because the MC got tired of the starting village but rather because the dialogues and interactions tell us there is more to the world than meets the website.

Dimikb: This is deffinetly a gold that in my point of view deserv to be in the same line with "I have a mansion...." in the ratings. The story is about the guy who for some reason awoken to the power of time manipulation and time travel. And he is deffinetly worthy of such power, as he understands how godly is his power and that he himself desrve to be a ruler of the world. It is a protogonist that seen so much that this world does not pose a chalenge to him. He will enslave and kill those that stand on his way, pulverise anyone that would disrespect him with no questions asked. He is not some pushover with no ambition like all MC's in Japanese issekai novels. Thats how a ruler should be. He is no hero but as he has seen destruction of galaxy and death of the humanity by their own hands (felt it even as his body was anigilated to atoms by atom bombs a hubdred or even thousand time until he learned how to use the power), he decide to save humanity from itself. And thats a story of how he does that. You believe the theory of conspirasy and world government? Well he is the one behind the worlds government!

OldSam: One of the best original novels on this site... even though there are thing that I like and diskile in this novel, overall, is a good read to me. (SPOILER ALERT)

What I like:

- very good pacing

- very good grammar

- smart and calculative mc

- ruthless mc

- hardworking mc

- solus (really usefull companion/ai/equipment)

- nana (his 'magic mentor' i really enjoy the interations with the old perky magician lol)

- character grow (we can see how the characters grow along with the progress of the novel, even though its more mc focused, but i dont have any problems with that)

What I dislike:

- the nobles/young masters trope

- his older brother, that seems going to be an annoying factor through the novel, or at least will come back and bite him in the a*s...

- the 'hidding true strength and look like a scrub' trope... ( well i can understand the hiddind strength part since its logical when you are at the bottom, but so far we have a somewhat ugly mc, i mean every one in his family is somewhat decent and only him and his father seem to be the ugly ones...)(note: he seems to get better looking with each increase of his magic core, but it seems that at best he will be average, which i will be ok with, as long as he doesn't remain ugly lol)

Even though the beginning of the novel may seem slow, or somewhat confusing, it works as an introduction to the mc personality, and help us understand him better, so I suggest that u should read at least 10 chaps before diciding if u like it or not, thats what I always do.
