I completely agree, humanity or humans in general area being driven by desires, they arent neither pure nor just. Lets say that you help someone, can you really say that you helped him only for the sake of it, that you didn’t help him just because it made you feel fulfilled ? I’ll answer for you, you can’t. Putting that aside, even if you help someone, you can’t t help everyone, if you only help someone because they are in front of you, the very own act of thinking that you are doing a good action is hypocritical since you are closing your eyes to every other injusties in the world. Those arguments can be applied also to the fact that even if you help a stranger, you wont help them for the rest of their life, you are just doing it because they are in front of you and you may want to look good or just be able to say to your hypocrital and pathetic self that you are a good person. I’m not saying that helping someone is bad though, but its just vain and not pure therefore not a good action, you are at the end doing it for yourself not for the others. That’s thank you for reading such a long comment, english is not my first language so there might be several mistakes that I overlooked but i hoped that you were able to get the gist of it
