I love it when Feng is the hunter. The perspectives of his targets always feel like horror stories with a monster lurking in the dark or the monster coming right at you. Gives it a John Wick sorta vibe.

About having low HP... ever met a ranged tank? No, well yourself to get salty.

Definitely agree. Any Zerg in a commanding position has high psyionic capability which would benefit 24k, especially if you consider he is part Zerg so eating one might awaken some of his dormant genes. Zerg are also exceptionally resilient so there is no way one would die after 30 years or so. Although handing a biological super weapon capable of conquering entire galaxies to your local tyrant sound like a great idea. Especially if he is referred to as Uncle Sam.

If it was a level 50 or 55 quasi-boss then its streagth would be understandable because the players wouldnt have the force or wouldnt have the equipment to deal with it, so they would never be able to find it wIth its cloaking abilities. Assuming that the players should go up against enemies around their own level then a group of level 70 players would all have the force and equipment to deal eith it; so its strength could hardly be considered at the level of quasi-boss. In my opinion either the level is reduced or it’s designation is reduced. Unless it has some rediculess ability that it either didn’t use or its about to use next chapter to stop it from dying.

I hope that Qing Wu getting head shot becomes a running gag of this novel. Every time Feng gets into a major battle with roaring dragon, Qing Wu appears just to get head shot again. It would be ever greater if later on in the story a popular post on the player forum is about how a doctor player is traumatized by sniper players killing them with head shots.

What a clever trick. Phoenix and Feng are definitely in that group of four, i think the other two are Ada and that scout guy (cant remember his name). Cat and pineapple are probably staying back this time. I think the next few chapters are going to get interesting.

What if you used Hajime from Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest, as a template. The anime is a hot mess but the novel was really good. He gets stronger from eating powerful creatures, a master craftsmen, a powerful fighter (he is a gunner, dont have many of those in this story), and he is considered a demon lord harem protagonist. With a bit of tweaking I think he could be an interesting template, especially if you give him a better system to use.

I kinda want Vahn to make Groudon as well, since he is Kyogre’s other half, but it just seems like unnecessary trouble. Lore wise (if memory serves correct) he is the one that created land is the Pokémon universe by acting as a volcano and turned ocean into land. So it would be interesting to see how his power would react to shinsu, but it would probably be very dangerous. Because shinsu acts similar to water, Groudon might turn it into a rock like state, or maybe magma. Imagine having the air around you turn into solid rock or magma, thats scary stuff. Since Vahn isn’t big on killing or torturing people, I have little hope for Groudon making an appearance. Thanks for the chapter.
