I respect your pov, though based off of the principle of the metals attributes yes anti-metal does melt other metals though the key is in how it does it, as stated by fluer it does so by vibrations, and vibranium absorbs vibrations thus meaning its one of if not the only metal that can be used with anti-metal, also the passive destruction of all metals around him due to anti-metal vibrations could at some point hurt the girls(be careful that would be a sad scene to read)
