so if it's just sitting there wouldnt it be extremely easy to contain. like obviously it probably has some sort of defense mechanism. but couldnt the leader of aegis take the same route nick took and contain it?

so it seems like the fiend of darkness teleports someone to the nightmares domain. and the nightmares true body is in this area but the victims are never close enough to the true body to receive the ability

Sure, when advancing, a Specter's ability would integrate into the Extractor's main ability, which would create different effects, but even with all of that, the Blinding Light couldn't be considered to be a fit for most Extractors.

is it me or does not eating sleeping or drinker for three days not seem like that big of an ask for a peak level 2 extractor. like for a normal person yea no way. but a peak john surely has some good willpower
