Seems like a fine decision to me. If she forced herself to raise her child in this circumstances - where it seems clear that she absolutely don't want a child that will bring her troubles - there might be cases of child abuse (either emotionally or physically, not caring and being present for your child can be considered emotional abuse). So while this decision might seems ruthless, and it is, I think keeping her baby has chances of being worse. And it's difficult to bet on the future of a child.

However, the woman had no intention of raising the second female lead. Thus, she dropped the baby at an orphanage soon after giving birth. Afterward, the woman disappeared from the world's eyes and never appeared anymore…

Since you said that you don't really know what to do with these 2, I'll just put my personal opinion here. You can ignore it if you want. I really don't like this CP. Everything in it is too forced. I get that from the beginning it was like that but in my opinion Qia is the one who wasted what they could have. I don't believe that she really is in love with Rean. She just hypnotized herself to think so. And with this feeling, I can't bring myself to appreciate the chapters she interact with Rean in this forceful manners. It feels really wrong for me. Furthermore I really feel like the one with the biggest loss is Rean here. He doesn't love her and it is completely disregarded. Sure she is beautiful and all, but does it mean that he shouldn't be given a real choice because of that ? It feels really unfair when I think about it. When I read about the interactions of the 2, I really feels like Rean is trapped and no one care about it. It makes me really uncomfortable. Even if he comes to like her, if there wasn't a real development where Qia reflected on her behaviour and real feeling and put herself in question, plus a long time where she stopped this kind of thing, I would feel that Rean just fell for the trap, and that there is no chance for him to escape. It would really be pitiful and I would hate Qia for it. In my opinion their current relationship isn't healthy at all, especially since Rean is a MC, it feels like the author completely disregard the feeling and opinion of the MC we followed to give priority to a side character we didn't know for long and didn't have the time to get a good opinion of before shit began (I mean if Rean fall in love with her) Sincerely, at this point in their relationship I would feel more comfortable if she just became his bed buddy that he DOESN'T and will NEVER love than if he fall in love with her.
