Besides the Gym, Viridian City also has 3 Halls, a ground-type Hall, a flying-type Hall, and an electric-type Hall. Yes, I checked if the leader of the ground Hall was Giovanni, but he wasn't. For now, it seems Viridian is Rocket-free, but I am still not disavowing the possibility of them hiding themselves. Quite successfully at that, if that is the case.

Anyway, the Gym Leader's name is Colby Ventura, and I learned that his Ace is a Rhydon. Besides that, I also heard he has a Pidgeot, Electrode, and Kingler. I am sure he has more than that, but those were the ones I heard about.

That day my father went up the ladder gaining the corresponding benefits of his new class, but there was a catch. Non-active, or not, in case of an emergency he had to step up. On the upside in such situations, he would be a team leader with another 9 trainers under him, that were all Seniors.

None of the wild Pokemon had any desirable potential, the best one being a yellow potential Oddish. We also found no new materials during that time, but I have to admit that we may not have been as thorough as usual. Mostly because I was walking faster than usual, which gave me and my Pokemon less time to check out the area.

As far as meeting any such group goes, I don't think that would end well. At least not for me. The existence of an underworld and some criminal groups is nearly guaranteed, because honestly as long as there are humans there is going to be crime.

I have heard nothing about Team Rocket and to be honest, I don't see any kind of evil team, the way they are portrait in the original, surviving the alliance. At least from what I have learned about them until now, I can't see them tolerating those terrorist groups.

The occasional markings I see lead me to the conclusion that it is marking its territory, so I begin to believe that it is relatively new to the area. Another 15 minutes later I hear some sounds in front of me and all of us make maximum effort to be quiet and inconspicuous.

The one with 5-stars was a light blue Hoothoot, and the 4-stars were a light green Pidgey, a light green Pikachu, a light green Sentret, a green Sandshrew, a green Voltorb, as well as a deep green Sunkern. Since they did not plan to keep any of these Pokemon, they decided to sell them all.

Besides him, I have a Beedrill, Forretress, Leavanny, Scyther, and Pinsir. All of them can be found in the inner area of the Viridian Forest. That place is really a Paradise and simultaneously a Hell for us Bug Specialists. There is a large variety of bug types there, but the danger of the place makes it a risky move to enter the place." After successfully getting rid of the leader for the moment, she turned to the remaining Rattata, that had attacked her. By the time the leader came back, Nyx had taken out the last nuisance as well. The way she had taken it down was impressive as well if a bit brutal. She had fired a Swift at it and used a Quick Attack to follow along. While the Rattata was dodging the Swift, she appeared behind it and used Bite on its tail. After that she swung it around like a rag doll, slamming it from one side of the ground to another. After slamming it around 4 to 5 times she let the poor thing go. To me, it looked like she was a bit miffed that it had hit her with its Quick Attack. Anyway, the leader came back a few seconds after Nyx took down its last underling. It released an angry screech seeing its beaten underling.

What I had apparently ignored/overlooked while choosing her was that she had a talent. Seems like I focused too much on her potential, I have to make sure something like that doesn't happen again. Anyway, her talent made sure that she stayed calm and composed no matter how stressful or bad the situation was.
