I get the world is governed by the phrase "the strong survive" but it seems like the teachers or whatever don't care at all about the students. Maybe I'm overthrowing it lol.

If I fight a rich young master and his hand accidentally "slips" and kills me, he could just bribe the school to let it go. Of course, I would have to reveal some of my skills which would expose me. Power-hungry families would try and hire me and if I refuse, they would just threaten me.

the love interest leaving after the relationship has just started is my least favorite trope in all cultivation novels. It works every time because then I keep reading to see what the mc has to do to get/win her back.

it seems to me like the writing is getting more intelligent as our imp friend gets smarter.

The Imp, for some reason, was able to react far quicker than before! Well, that didn't mean much, as such reactions were still incomparably low to the reactions of a rock, but it did change something to the Imp. The issue was just that, even if it could run away from the boxes properly, it didn't mean that he could run away from everything. Especially if the issue was the fact that he was running in the first place.
