i’ve already read the whole first book and was pleasantly surprised by the character development that the mc goes through, as well as the realistic behavior for most characters.

Interesting premise and sport, really like the sport and the gene modification abilities that are revealed right now. Hope that you do not introduce overpowered abilities.
