That’s fine and bearable, but the author decides to write the cliche “he starts from the bottom/Outer Sect and progress forward” Author wants to make this large and grand world but starts in the least interesting spot. This novel R18 + MC Overpowered. You could’ve explored the culture and dynamics behind the world in more creative ways. Speaking of the author. Writing Quality is poor. Author info dumps paragraphs of information between actions of chapters. The dialogue is also childish. Cultivators that are centuries old are behaving like middle school girls. Which leads to the weak dynamics of characters. All of them feel flat and uninteresting. Even the most intriguing thing, the multiverse, is but on the back burn as it’s focused on cultivation. Like cmon, why couldn’t the MC introduced magic into the world to usher a new era.

This is the author’s self insert fantasy about sleeping with Korean women and I refuse to believe anything else. There’s constant prejudice about the Korean male and how superior the White American is. The sex scenes in the novel are trash because the sex is barely described. At most, you get a few sentences. The story is complicated for no reason. The MC has unnecessary family drama with his original family. I could tell the author is a virgin and is writing a self insert from all the pornhwa they read.

Second review [as of Chapter 162] Before I begin. The story is at best (C+). It’s a fun read if you have nothing else to read or stockpiling chapters from another series. The world feels hollow. There’s a lot of kingdoms and three empires named but the kingdoms are pretty worthless since the first 70 chapters were spent in the capital - which had no name apparently. It was just called the Capital. The MC is barely described. We just know his name. He’s handsome and has a big dick. How big it is, we don’t know? How tall is he, we don’t know? What’s his hair and eye color. No idea. MC is just a cardboard with a penis and sword. Fight scenes are difficult to follow because the author overly describes the smallest action. Which makes it hard to understand the overall picture. The H scenes are somewhat boring because Wu Long was praised as the God of Pleasure but the sex is pretty vanilla and bland. The best scene was the foreplay therapy for Sui Luxiao. H scenes are not on the level and intensity as Festering Desire, Profane Prince of Domination or even Dual Cultivation. (D+) at best. If you’re here to read for H scene. You’ll be disappointed.

I don’t need to read the entirety of a story to critique facets beyond it’s completion. You have issues with grammar. You have issues with dialogue. You have issues with info dumping. My review never stated I didn’t like the story. Whether you intended to or not, your work is an imitation of another popular novel on this site. The majority of comments on your first few chapters agree on that imitation. Worry about starting not with ellipses every time a character speaks.

The novel begins as a complete rip-off from Dual Cultivation. And that continues well into Chapter 20 and beyond. I do like how cultivation level isn’t the end all be all for battles. As early on, the MC, Wu Long is able to battle 3 levels above due to his experience. The author also does too much info-dumping in the middle of chapters which slows the pacing of the story and bogs it for no reason. The dialogue and flow of battle is also awkward and hard to follow because the author is unable to be concise. This results in the MC’s speech lasting for several paragraphs whenever he flexes on fodder characters. Or the frequent use of starting dialogue with ellipses. Overall it’s a decent novel that imitates Dual Cultivation and has yet to define itself. Even the title has Dual Cultivation. Don’t expect much creativity as it follows the standard tropes and Chinese sayings even though the author is not Chinese or from that background.
