She was traumatized because of her dad– someone that I will make sure to beat up if I ever had the misfortune to meet. Her choice to label what we had as a 'fake relationship' was her way to circumvent the trauma, but she still couldn't bring herself to trust anyone, despite all of our affection for one another.
