She patted his head as she spoke in a calm and clear voice, "You are not useless... I saw how you withstood the pain. It is more hard than inflecting someone with pain. All I am trying to say is, try to fight back only if you are sure that you can win... And if you feel like you can't, its perfectly fine to run away. No one will blame you for it. And honestly, these villagers are to be blamed. The chief is not exactly the bad guy here. The villagers consider them as weak and they do not try to stand up for themselves. Waiting for a hero to appear is a total bullshit! If you want something, then you have to be able to take it on your own. Or you can't protect it."

"Don't you dare come near! Leave us alone!" She screamed at top of her voice as she pointed the taser at them. "Who do you think you are? Move if you don't want to get hurt!" A fat guy scoffed at her as he tried to reach her hair. Without a moment to waste, Anaaya struck him with her taser. The electricity passed through his body knocking him out on the spot surprising everyone who were present.

Bhaswar patted on her head with a soft smile on his lips, "You were just being rational while Dhruv let his emotions get the better of himself. Sometimes rational people can come out as, 'heartless' ones. But in fact, it is not true. They are being rational because they wanted to protect which is important to them. At that situation, you thought about our safety and said those words. Dhruv will understand your intentions. Don't worry." Anaaya started to sulk after hearing his definition for 'heartless' as she continued to wait for Dhruv.

"Someone you don't need to know of!" Anaaya glared at him as she pinched on his hand over her shoulder. The man looked at them as he sighed and spoke in a cold voice, "No potatoes for you both, unless you guys wash up!"

Dhruv walked near her as he flicked on her forehead. "Ouch!" Anaaya rubbed her forehead as she shot daggers at him. He mimicked her exact actions. Crossed his arms over his chest as he rolled his eyes at her with an annoying grin plastered on his face, "Didn't your parents teach you to be respectful towards your elders?" Her jaw dropped to the ground. At that exact moment, Anaaya was like a little cartoon character where the smoke comes out of their nose and ears. The girl chucked sweetly at Anaaya's exaggerated expressions.

The man's eyes were filled with tears as he held his sister closer to his heart, "I am sorry for being late. I am really sorry for making you go through all this." The girl didn't say anything, she just hugged him as the silent tears rolled over cheeks staining his shirt. The scene was heartbreaking to watch. Anaaya couldn't help but shed a few secret tears.

"Thank you. Visit again!" They sent her off with a huge smile on their faces like they have achieved something. Anaaya felt like she scammed them big time as she walked away with her backpack full of money.

Anaaya explained to him how to use a pen. The fat merchant was astonished to see words written on a paper without ink or brush. He offered her 100 gold coins to buy it from her. She bargained to add a 1000 copper and 500 silver coins together with the gold.
