The story was great for about the first 1000 chapters(I dont know precisely I am doing this from memory). Perfekt 5 Stars great world building, magic system and character development. But at some point it went downhill the first thing that started to bother me was the power creep. It got completely out of hand, in every fight you have like twenty new spells tricks and bloodline abilities so that the only reaction you can have is "oh I guess this is possible now." or "hmmm I guess that just happened.". The second thing that started bothering me was the way charters started interacting. Every emotional interaction and reflection is so on the nose like "this is exactly how I am feeling and these are my rationalizations for the way I feel" most exemplary for this plump way of writing interactions between characters are the "mind links" were one character completely shares an experience with another, and the reaction Is always the same "oh i feel for you " and "now I completely agree with you". it's such a boring and plump way of forcing "character" development. Finally this is worsened by my third and final issue I have namely at some point all the characters started feeling the same because they all talk like lith and they all think/ reason in their heads like lith. All these combined make the average chapter just too bland. At this point I just want to know how the world will turn out in the end but it doesn't feel like its gonna end anytime soon so I will probably end up dropping it. So to anyone wondering if you should pick up this novel, yes do it just know when to stop.

what a dumb take by that logic no one ever owned anything they invented because its always based on some previous invention.

"I upgraded your mother's runes to become the Fourth Ruler of the Flames just like I simply upgraded your mother's hammer to craft the Absolution. It belongs to you not me and I don't want to take anything away from you anymore."

I don't really like this "instantly sharing an experience" stuff it kinda just skips how and why someone shares certain experiences and instead just rushes to a certain end status aka komplete understanding and compassion.

Friya touched his hand, sharing her life with him via a mind link. Nalrond saw her neglected existence as a kid, always compared to her siblings and harshly reprimanded by her mother, Duchess Solivar, whenever Friya failed her expectations.
