very true. although it is implied earlier that he rushed to ask her to join his club, almost certainly for selfish reasons, without asking about her goals or anything. so he is not blameless.

Sorry? you thought he might have a demigod behind him based on how he generally carried himself and him having an awesome artifact. Now that you also have a much better idea of how strong his group is, that they(Regina) have been holding back against higher ranks this whole time, the the SERVANT of Bloed is almost as strong as you(you think) despite being under 20 and that he has 2 incredibly unique and powerful pets(feel manaless), one of whom can fly( usually limited to demigods). You think no demigod behind him just cause you don't get a name match....... first plan was very risky, this is suicide

But Gerald was a bit nervous. He was still not sure about this operation. However, his father told him last night that Bloed was most probably not related to any known demigod.

have to be difficult. steam engines/ turbines are MORE efficient then internal combustion engines. Which is why coal/gas/ nuclear power plants all use steam. the problem with steam is that you need a large water reservoir and a boiler. On a moving vehicle this really drops the power to weight ratio, which is why they don't. Engineering and science rant over.

Internal combustion engines, the second-generation power source, worked much more efficiently than steam engines, but in terms of structure, the former were not very different from the latter, except that the latter needed some external equipment such as a boiler and a steam transport pipe. No matter how well-designed a steam engine was, it could not prevent the energy loss caused by the transportation of steam. An internal combustion, however, contained the fuel inside its cylinder. In this way, all the heat generated by the fuel could be used to push the piston.
