Wait, I thought Lith had affinities for Fire and Darkness, wasn't that part of the reason he was considered the "destroyer" by the guardians in the early chapters?

if he does need it, aren't Lith and Vastor with each other? assuming the other abominations can't make it, they could step in once zinya is safe back at the manor.

I really hope the next 2 chapters show us the fight (or butchering if Orpal) and doesn't just skip back to Lith and Kamila. I love reading the chapters focused on Thrud and seeing her rip Meln to pieces would be a delight.

There are a couple things that could explain why she reacted that way. 1, they have no concept of aliens or life forms away from the planet, as well as death like that being final. he didn't get resurrected by magic, he came back to life in a new body. 2, she lived every moment of pain, grief, and rage that encompassed his 40+ years existence. the mental damage that could cause should not be understated. she can't stay gone, but she really didn't have a choice but to make space.
