The description of the company's building and life inside it reminds me of the domed cities from Asimov's Caves of Steel. The Security Dept. and their expeditions remind of the Survey Corp from Attack on Titan. The Ashlands have a very Walking Dead/ Fallout feel to it (not surprising, given that Cuttlefish mentioned that Fallout was one of the inspirations for this webnovel). I love it.
