I'll made it short, basically MC can send a piece of his soul to act as him into a body of character on that world then the MC controls it, and start as brand new with some power from his main body(scale it as you want) when hard times come MC can just rely on his plot armor(main body) or you can just think anything on this. Also if you afraid of his clone out of control, don't worry cause practically that clone is himself and can merge again, don't forget that clone is his piece of soul
