The afternoon passed by just like that. Not only did Xiao Lin fail to make any progress, he had wasted half a day of training. Meditation training was much harder than Phantom Steps for any sort of swordsmanship training. His goal was originally to master as many useful spells as he could in a week, so wasting time like that caused him quite a bit of grief.

I don't fucking understand him if even if he doesn't know lifewater doesn't work and if she is persistent in not buying it just leave her alone. They're barely close we barely see any interaction between them outside of note taking.

However, all that was happening did not affect Xiao Lin too much, outside of him constantly reminding Gu Xiaoyue that she needed to buy Lifewater, no matter what. He even offered to help her if she did not have enough. He currently had an abundance of points.

He's saying his experiences with assassinations and remember he would know everything about the person who died so he would get familiar with how people get assassinated or if they were assassins.

On both his sides, Rean and Roan looked at the corpse. Sure enough, they didn't completely run away. Using Roan's experience about assassinations, the twins followed the Azure Hyena and Luono without them noticing. Even though Rean stopped Malaka, Roan still believed that wiping out the roots was the best thing to do.
