I have read over 400 chapters. Basically, the author borrowed some ideas from Dual Cultivation (DC) to create this story. Compared to DC and DCGR, both have their own strengths and weaknesses. The advantage of DCGR over DC is that Wu Long always considers whether he likes the girl or not, and if he does, he will make efforts to conquer her while respecting her wishes. On the other hand, Su Yang doesn't care about that, and when he conquers the girls, he just shows off his past life skills and the girls will come to him (feeling not genuine). Additionally, Su Yang is overly powerful so there is hardly any plot, mainly focusing on him conquering the girls. Wu Long, on the other hand, is less powerful but faces difficult and dangerous situations, making the story more lively. Conversely, the disadvantage of DCGR compared to DC is that the author limited their own writing ability by stating in the FAQ section: no one-night stands, no GL, no BL. Both novels have the common feature of dual cultivation, but the author limits the potential of the dual cultivator in having one-night stands, something that Su Yang has managed to do. Of course, the author depicted Wu Long as not wanting shallow relationships. However, Su Yang made this distinction when he differentiated between family and one-night stands. Because the author restricts this aspect, anyone Wu Long has a relationship with is assumed to be his woman. As the plot progresses, he ends up with more women, making it difficult to fully describe the storyline. In addition, compared to DC, the independence of women (each in their own place, not all going with MC) in the story is also another interesting aspect (can be written as a side story). As the number of women in Wu Long increases due to no one-night stands, the author will not be able to fully describe the independence of his women. Suppose Tô Dương has relationships with 100 girls, then perhaps he only needs to describe 20 main girls because the remaining 80 secondary girls (can be skipped) are all one-night stands. But with Wu Long having relationships with 100 girls, the author has to describe all 100 girls, which the author may find difficult and almost certainly impossible later on (because Wu Long does not want shallow relationships with girls he has loved). Therefore, the author must describe the girls that Wu Long has confirmed feelings for, whether few or many. And because he can't describe all the girls, this will lead to neglecting his women, making the story longer and harder to write and is likely to be drop. GL is also a highlight of the harem novel. For example, the main character can conquer a GL couple or a GL couple in a threesome, helping each other. It is not necessary to describe BL scenes. The author can have Wu Long punish enemies using BL, for example, without detailing it. Conclusion: Currently, I see the advantages of DCGR outweighing the disadvantages, even though my assessment of the disadvantages is quite lengthy. Fundamentally, the current plot is better than DC's when Su Yang is too OP and just needs to smile for women to fall in love with him. The disadvantages, as mentioned above, are due to the author's FAQ, making it harder to write the story in the future. So, for now, I would rate it 4 stars
