Just went back and decided to read something that sounded interesting. Then I started looking at the reviews and thought that there was a lot of absurd things going on. The whole pedophile nonsense is just that. It really does not matter as the story is about the MC and him being married to his ex's mother. It matters not one bit about the background or the ages involved with the MC and his ex or even when the mother got pregnant with his ex. That is just background information that plays no role in the story itself at this point. Now the story, I absolutely hate the concept of systems giving things like companies, cars, villas ect..., as we need to really ignore all the hand wavium going on. Here we have a situation where the system bought the things using system power to influence things. That very system influence is actually improving the impression of those who are researching about the background of the MC. This is actually where most of those system with physical rewards that have past owners comes with major problems, but is handled fairly well in this story such that the system is effectively being a major 'background' for the MC and people realize that the MC has someone major handling things for him. Even at chapter 40 there is not much that has gone on. I find it a bit disappointing that the MC is the only one who is aware of his "wife's" affiliation with his ex. Just another thing to look forward to if I am able to read more of this one.

This story is a combination of two distinct story types commonly found on Webnovel. First off the mistreated married mercenary king. In this case we have the MC who transmigrated into a situation where he had a one night stand with this 'noble' girl from one of the noble families. It left a bad situation for the girl, while the MC was thrown onto a prison island to rot. There he found a grand opportunity and before he leaves to return 'home' he acquires the 'assets' of all the other prisoners on paper. Of course they do not believe he can utilize them as he is also one of the prisoners. But then he says goodbye and successful leaves. The second story type is the daddy/daughter story. The MC was not aware of this daughter and the time-frame also does not seem to quite line up, but the girl is very much drawn to him, and also looks a lot like him. The actual situation for this story is that the female has been very much mistreated by her family and the MC is not one of those guys who is going to hide his power and ability. He is going to go right out and deal with problems not hiding who and what he is. Finally the MC is not really all that faithful the the noble girl, though he does seem like he is going to be very faithful to his daughter. The MC is a shrewd guy who goes after what he is interested in, yet has enough self belief that he has no interest in forcing others into sexual relationships with him. He is pursuing those he want, yet is very pragmatic. There are two fantastical events in the story so far. One is the MC getting the technique that provides all of his powers and abilities, which we only get a very brief memo of the event occurring, the other is where the MC leaves the island and just so happens to come across a cruise ship that his girl and daughter are on.

For an R18 labeled story this is not bad, at least to start with. When compared to standard type stories it is rather lackluster, though it still is not repulsive. The opening scene is rather fun with the male protagonist attempting to get himself a female party member. It seems to be a quasi game crossing real life type scenario. So our MC awakens a power that provides a boost to both himself and all party members that are of the opposite sex. This boost has a relative power level compared to how close physically he is to his female party members. The distance requirement can be removed for a time via intimate contact. So our MC tries to get some party members but when rejects males and claims the need to females only, he is labeled a pervert. Eventually a single female tries him as she starts out in the deplorable position of being a mage without any active skills. Our MC's boosts end up making him and his female companion(s), one for now, very OP as it gives massive stats bonuses as well as the all too prevalent luck bonus. This gives them the ability to acquire a great deal of equipment. So we have some minor face slapping and a set of for major face slapping latter. I can't really recommend this one to readers, but with its R18 label it is better than most R18 stories. I did also notice that most of this weeks take seem to be the male MC with fantasy female harem type stories.

What I believe in is scientific research that has not been overblown and sensationalized. Yes there is a concept of 'greenhouse effect', as well as 'global warming'. The problem lies in the concept of 'man-made global warming'. There is actual historical evidence of climate fluctuations, that when looked at microscopically looks like man-made global climate change, but when looked at macroscopically, just looks like natural fluctuations of the climate. The so called carbon emissions or CO2 gasses concept is also rather overblown. The world itself geologically produces somewhere on the order of 100X the amount of CO2 as does all man-made CO2 sources. As far as localized climate change, there is a concept of the heat island effect. This is where cities of steel and concrete absorb heat and lock it into its structure during the day and radiate it at night. Additionally very tall buildings break and disrupt the wind that stirs the heated air allowing it to dissipate extra heat into the natural environment. Personally I have not encountered anything ever that suggests that under current circumstances that man made global climate change is a viable concept, except maybe under the deliberate detonation of hundreds if not thousands of nuclear devices around the globe. The planet itself has many built in features that automatically correct and regulate the environment. As far as why the so called 'global climate change' initiatives are ongoing, it has to do with population control and power. Manipulate the population into believing in a relatively controllable concept that is supposedly the big scary doom of our existence and set ourselves up to be the only ones who see it as well as are willing to do anything about it. Keep pushing that scenario as all those who believe in it are willing to support your own power. All those who support you knowingly have a vested interest in keeping it alive. There is a massive initiative to support it without actually providing any real proof that has not otherwise been discounted reliably. I personally would be all in favor of all the various save the world initiatives if there was some real proof that could stand up to the scientific method. Psedo-science is all about creating a theory and then trying to prove it right - global warming community here. Real science is all about creating a theory and then trying to prove it wrong, then updating the theory. Eventually the theory is upgraded in name. Postulate, theorem, law, ect... In real science nothing has ever been proven right, as everything is always still open to being proven wrong, or more accurately our laws of nature that have withstood all sorts of trials trying to disprove them, are only considered to be true until proven otherwise.

As of now the first 20 chapters it is a prepper story. I remember a while back there was a movie about an 'instant' ice age. Where areas of the world would freeze instantly as if the temp suddenly dropped to near absolute zero from hot 100F temps. It started happening in small areas then in increasingly larger zones. Then a group started to try to stave off the 'end of the world' from the ice age caused by 'global warming'. This one has the same concept and even is looking like it is actually the exact same except there does not really seem to be anything that can be done to stop it, and it is told from a different perspective. The MC is a guy who has a superpower that allows him to have dreams of future disasters. Those dreams can be verified by him because everyone that is real gives him a physique power up. Now at this point he is a rather rich playboy who has recently been having the ice age end of the world scenario with the instant onset which followed record high temps for a while. He is currently in the high temps and finally decides to build himself a survival shelter. Not the worst as a what if scenario with an MC with a somewhat interesting cheat. Using 'scientific' theories about what will happen as a result of 'global warming' in the story makes be look more at the author as being another one of those buying into the concept that if we can't find a disaster to take advantage of lets create one. Lets sensationalize some disaster theory and give it popular support so that we can utilize it to mobilize the peons into a direction that we deem useful for our own purpose.
