When I arrived close to the farmhouse, out in the fertile land where crops used to grow, I saw Mom, and about everyone else setting up tables while off in the distance, I saw a few more parked cars along with a hearse, looking through the hearse, I saw Dad's coffin laying in the back. I wasn't as emotional as before; a month had passed, and roughly all the tears had been used in that period. Still seeing my Dad's lifestyle lying there filled me with great sorrow. The thought of flying back to Boston and killing that man would float through my mind whenever I gazed at Dad's corpse, but I never followed through with that plan, though I would be lying if I didn't secretly hope that he would do something bad so that I can justifiably kill him.

1) Overall, I am unsatisfied with this fic. During my edit, I realized just how... disappointing I found it. In fact, the first chapter was the only part I liked. The rest needs fixing. Add that to the fact that this version is just a re-write/adaptation of my original, "MCU: Hyperion" and to me... well, it's not even worth trying to fix. As such, I'm dropping it. Now, that said, I do have another MCU fic in the works... for those of you interested.
