I looked at it a long time. Shi Jian is the shi family head and shi yans grandfather. yang kai is shi yans father(he doesnt have shi name because he married into the shi clan). shi yans mom who was from the shi clan is dead and based on the levels listed earlier for his cousins shi yan who was previously the least talented is now the most talented so everyone except shiyans dad and grandpa is gonna be upset probably because shiyan is gonna start taking all the cultivation resources easily since his grandpa is the family head. I think for a chinese person this kind if family tree is easily understandable. I just dont get why two grandchildren of shijie and two grandchildren of shijian all have names starting with tian. is it to indicate they are children of the first child of the father or something? In the early arcs the main enemies other than rich second generations are russians who are basically made out to be super strong and tall with simpler minds like gorillas. indians also are portrayed badly. there is a warrior association run by the eu us and and russia that subjugates china and developing nations which is obviously backward because theres no way russia would be in it but again the author likes russian antagonists. Maybe a russian stole his girlfriend once. EU has a couple bad guys too and there is an anti religious theme as the protag has to overthrow the ordained pope and the entire religion. Africans and Brazilians are ok though.

I have gone to ch340 with MTL. This is a harem but its not terrible for someone who doesnt like them. The only issue is he often goes into too much detail describing beauties and there are a few fluff filler chapters with them. Its the typical weak to strong where MC takes advantage of his previous life's knowledge and also has an experienced persons guidance. There is also a revenge story. I think its pretty good if you like these tropes.

Exlor's writing is filled with excessive dialog, detail and explanation.
