Killing intent was not something of the body. The idea that people would smell of blood if they killed a lot was absurd and unrealistic. What most people assumed was killing intent was in fact, special energy waves emitted from the brain as signals which can only be interpreted by a person's subconscious. This energy wave served as a warning, hence people would feel like those with intense killing intent were 'creepy'.
