I can't really give constructive criticism atp since it's only the first chapter. I can however state my opinions and you take from it what you will so firstly I would've liked an introduction to the characters since it would get me more invested in them though given that you didn't do it here it would be weird to do it after unless you're going to do it by introducing a series of small flashbacks (this would help fix plotholes but would become irritating if this was used as a cure all ... im assuming you get what I mean) I liked how you built up the scene though there was a waste of ink because of the descriptions but I like it so far I'll try to do this every chapter and since I know that everyone thinks differently the scenes I won't agree with it would be nice hearing your reasoning behind them
