At first the boy looked really confident despite the situation he was in but I was sure that he must have been actually really scared inside, while showing a brave front In front of everyone but then the dragons weird behaviour...and this weird magical mist...I couldn't tell where did it come from! In the few years Konrad lived with Cristal, he learned quiet a lot about her. She was actually a hybrid of a horned serpent and another unrecognized snake species. She had the abilities of a horned serpent and overall similar build but she wasn't a water snake but a ground one. They also learned Cristal could easily breath underwater anyway yet she preferred to stay in hot dry places instead. Her crystal gave her inborn abilities of invisibility and flight but with training Cristal learned how to use kind of like a wand! She could already cast spells from it like an actual wizard and with the years of training her magic reserves reached a level of a fourth year student of Hogwarts! It was an amazing discovery! an animal that uses magic like a human, not that Konrad treated her like an animal. She was like a daughter to him and he loved the little snake. Little, yes. Because some time ago Cristal came to Konrad with her size reduced to how it was a year ago and showed him proudly how she could change it at will! Yep now if she actually changed to her maximum size she would span a total of two meters! But she preferred to stay in her smaller form because she could the stay at Konrad's side and wrap around him all the time. She just wanted to keep staying with her Daddy! And she would protect him as well since with her abilities she would become the strongest assassin ever.
