By the way mother, I am ashamed to say that you aren't the best ruler out there." Shahzad's words got to Warda. She stood up and slapped him, hard in the face. " You ungrateful child. I gave birth to you and brought you up. Stop acting all willful and stupid. You owe it to me to do as I say. I raised you until where you are today. Your life is mine to do with as I please."

Lina could only smile at the chaotic trio her children had become. Kladen proudly presented the bar of soap to her with excitement, Aiden tugged on the rope ends, and Adina happily turned the water to a boiling point.

"I-it was… n-nice to meet your acquaintance too, Q-queen Beatrice." She glanced over at Levy again. The man was giving her a thumbs up as he winked at her, obviously telling her that she had done a 'good job'. She could not help but bite down a smile looking at his playful face. This guy just could not stay serious for longer than is necessary, could he?

Vera agreed as she finally wiped her tears, coming to terms with his passing and her not being able to save him. She knew all she could do for Kione now was to stop crying and lift her head up again. She could only grit her teeth and continue to fight on. Evie truly was her role model. Seeing how strong-willed Evie was in this moment made Vera's conviction strengthen once again. Because that was all she could do for now. Her tears and regrets could never return Kione back to life anymore.

Evie's eyes widened. That voice. She had heard it before… Klauz!!

Silence. No one responded to Evie's taunt, but she still could feel something moving around her. It did not feel like Gav's darkness, however. This one seemed to be more like a shadow instead of the smoke-like wisps Gav and the other powerful dark faes, including that villain Galleous, were emanating.

"This is a good place to throw things," said Calhoun and Madeline's face turned pale, "Sometimes people don't listen, so it's good to throw them from here too."

Kaden didn't mean it as an insult, for he basically did the same. Except, he was much worse. Any man that showed interest in her lost it in just a day. He'd make sure of it. No one was to disturb the peace of his property. He did it from the shadows these past five years. He'd only do the same.

He did not like what was going at all. And he just could not accept the fact that Evie just did that without even letting them both know what was going on first. Gideon felt that whatever the reason, Evie was overstepping her boundaries.

Sebastian blinked at the cold and pressing voice. He was used to the chairman's apathetic nature. It could be summer outside, but around the boss, it was the coldest winter of the year.

Vera blinked. "Ma.. mating… ritual?" she stammered out, not expecting that their topic of discussion would suddenly jump towards their mating.

"You are right. But there was no need of teleportation if I stay in the spare room at the highest tower reserved for the watchers." King Oberon didn't feel offended at all. "When we get there, there was nothing except the Faerie Sentinel's burnt bodies hanging onto the parapet. As if they were desperate to jump and fly to escape, but they couldn't." His grandfather's voice was weak and fragile when he talked about the deaths. "Each of them died in agony and the torture of death by burning. "Faerie wings have limited altitude we can fly in. We can't recognize who was who since their skin was covered with soot, flayed, and torn, and the muscles shrank visibly to the point of contortion."
