Then picking the mobile game genre with sign in bonuses and daily deals to cheat in as an inspiration for a story is even more sad in so many other different ways. Anyone else notice Chinese authors love cheating? Cheating through reincarnation with retention of your former self (so not actual reincarnation), time traveling with memories of the future cheat, cheat skill that nobody else has, cheat foundation with unlimited resources, cheat knowledge retention and a cheat "system" that makes it so the protagonist can memorize everything perfectly while reproducing it perfectly first try. So much cheating in fact, that hiding power levels and abilities becomes an obsession, and cheating just enough to win easily, but not suspiciously because a single level of difference means the world and others might find out because how could a level 245 ever possibly be able to beat a 246? But I'll try and be low key while winning every competition ever and becoming the new upcoming king of some region. The danger of level 246's remember, can't be too outstanding. How could a lower dan refiner beat a mid dan? And why wouldn't every random mid dan be jealous of a lower dan with potential and try to murder them? How could a Zhinzuan possibly stand up to what a Zhinzun master, with all of the honor that it comes with, dictates? Don't you know it takes a year to become a Zhinzun from a Zhinzuan and that the whole world acknowledges Zhinzun's with such high honors that if they dare accidentally offend them they would offer their life, even the Emperor!?!?! Shit is so oddly fucked in this genre.

Even with all the cultivation genre complications and repetition of information, everything was fine. Even with the idea that runes in the Diablo universe cause weapons to explode and are carved directly onto weapons and not on runestones, great, cool. Then the main character (Abe in the title but Able in the translations?) just randomly kills hundreds of people with explosives for revenge over a plot pulled by maybe four people.

This author has very little naming sense. It is also an extremely frustrating novel because psychopaths and tits are the only characters in it. Would NOT recommend this novel at all. It isn't enjoyable. If you like random shit happening and it always being a psychotic asshole who becomes the center of conflict, and has to be reasoned with, read it.
