While some quirks can be seen as strange and abnormal even amongst the wide variety of quirks, a quirk that effectively kills its user and then after a few years starts to raise the user's body heat is unsettlingly weird. Hibiki was effectively dead the moment he came out of the womb hence why his body was so cold, Kyudai could understand that. Granted he didn't know how Hibiki's body could have even grown inside the womb but he just chalked it up to his quirk. Speaking of the quirk, to suddenly just start raising his body heat is what befuddled Kyudai, it just didn't make sense.
