Point #1 suggests Minato's superiority in a certain aspect, which can’t be travel speed since both travel at instantaneous speeds. I theorize that Minato excels in consecutive activations of the FTG, leading to point #2. This implies Minato enhanced the sealing formula, potentially reducing activation delay and chakra consumption. Point #3 indicates Minato expanded the FTG sealing formula to integrate with other sealing jutsus. This could explain his more intricate use of the FTG. Analogously, think of it as upgrading a CPU from single-core to multi-core, allowing the jutsu to perform multiple functions simultaneously.
