With creased brows, Xiaolei's gaze swept through them and saw that none of them were drinking. They were just quietly nibbling foods and three of them looked like they were sulking as they kept glancing at the bottle of alcohols the staffs were drinking. Xiaolei was about to ask why they're not drinking when her eyes fell on their table. There were no alcohols served for them. Instead… they all each have yogurts next to their plates.

Yu Chen was silent for a moment but in the end, he nodded and he was serious. Something that was such a big surprise to Xiaolei. She really couldn't imagine this man of all people punishing her!

"I am jealous but… I know that you're drunk and I trust you." he added, his expression was now grave and serious as he gazed deeply in her eyes. And then he leaned back and buried his face on his palms as he took a deep breath. "But Xiaolei… I… I don't trust that man… and I don't like it when I saw him touching you… I really, really, hated it… that I wanted to… I wanted to…" he bit his lips before he continued. "I don't want any other man touching you… I don't want you touching someone else… I don't want you letting anyone else hold you… even if… no matter…" he gritted his teeth and hung his sentence again, still hiding his face but she could see his jaws clenching. His confession surprised Xiaolei. This was the first time he ever acted and spoke like this. She didn't see this coming at all.

"It's alright. I'll help her," he said, and Juu's face darkened. He wanted to pull her away from this Yun Jinhan, but he then remembered Xiaolei's stern instructions: to restrain himself and not cause any trouble. Because of that, he could only intervene if her safety was at stake.

This Yun Jinhan was just supporting her; he wasn't trying to hurt her. Juu could see that. But he couldn't help but glare at the man as he followed them closely from behind. Juu didn't like this man the first time he saw him. Truth was, he didn't like any man touching her, of course, except Yu Chen.

Yu Chen's strange actions made Xiaolei felt that there was something wrong with him but she couldn't fight the heaviness of her eyes anymore. The alcohol didn't seem to mess up her head that much but she was incredibly dizzy and she felt like her body had turned into a jelly.
