He wondered what could have happened for such an unwelcome change, somehow, he felt it had something to do with his wife. She is the only person that can make a grown up man like his boss undergo mood swings in the shortest possible time.

'Steffan,' Lauren repeated in her mind. So that was his name. It seems it wasn't that hard to get to know his identity afterall. However, she couldn't help but wonder why Johnson was making an effort to tell her all these.

Author I think you should go back and read the book from the beginning the plot is not cohesive because she's already aware why she's forgotten Aiden and why he would disappear when her family is around so her memory won't be erased again, it seems like you're writing a different book with the same plot but different and confusing story lines it's definitely making not want to read another of you writings especially since I waited a year to see you come back and start with this one again....reading another will feel like a waste of money there's no editing and so many mistakes sometimes its hard for me to decipher alot of this book, It was such a good book in the beginning

This opened a door to an entirely new world. Aiden knew a lot more than them, which is why he had not been questioning anything. It was also why he was disappearing the moment any of her family members arrived. Now that she thought about it, their conversations were usually him initiating and whenever she was in this apartment, but when she would go back to the Addams manner, his conversations would just be reduced to his reply to her texts. Since she was always found by her family members, Leah never noticed it.

OK, I'm confused. I thought in the beginning of the book she was told she was homeschooled, there are too many confusing storylines

She blinked her eyes when the photos of her graduation from high school and graduation from middle school were kept side-by-side. It was another comparison of blonde and black hair and she saw the eyes again. One was filled with hatred for the world and one was where she was smiling because she was surrounded by nothing but love.
