But I've always remembered one comment – "This author has started churning out stories for profit." Honestly, when I first read that comment, I was quite surprised. Because when I write, I never intentionally write for profit. But that comment made me reflect. Perhaps, without realizing it, I was indeed doing just that. For example, writing an entire chapter about a single fight (laughs). So, I took the time to read many works by accomplished authors and learned from their writing experiences. I finally realized that readers don't enjoy lengthy battle scenes, even if I find them thrilling. Those great authors don't focus on which moves or abilities are used in a fight. They focus on "emotion." Only by stirring emotions can readers resonate with the story. That's what makes a story "not just for profit." So, after that, I had an "epiphany." I consciously started avoiding extensive battle descriptions. You see, in the past, every time I wrote a fight, my head was filled with techniques and details, like scenes from a movie, with all sorts of powerful moves causing city-wide destruction (laughs). I deeply love the act of writing, and I'm willing to invest time in it. But I'm just an ordinary person, my family isn't from a literary background, and I don't have a teacher for writing. The only thing I can rely on is my love for novels. Over the years, I've read almost every type of novel – fantasy, cultivation, historical, urban, infinite flow... and so on. As long as a novel is well-written, I can easily get lost in it. Even at my age, I'll stay up all night reading a good novel. Although I do regret it in the morning, health comes first! ...I seem to have gone off on a tangent. I am both a reader and a writer.
