And the people are not game characters which you can control with just your wishes. This is a world with many extremely smart characters, a world of very complicated political interest groups and certainly a world where family honor is supreme. In hindsight it was a terrible decision to ask Oberyn to leave his family.

Honest to god, being 120 chapters in and still being an edgelord is cringe

Oz nodded as he listened to Alfreda's report. He had also told Arauthator to keep an eye on Norberta so he was completely content with leaving her here. What he wasn't looking forward to though was splitting off from her for so long. It was rare for someone like him to feel attachment to anything. Oz even deemed such feelings as weaknesses that could be used against him. However considering how Norberta hatched in front of him and grew in his care, he couldn't help but feel a kinship to the dragon.

Honest to god, since I’m only at this point of the story right now, I can’t fathom why you would drop it. You don’t even have to go on on a long convoluted story after this chapter, you could just have summers be for Merlin and end the story with some great character work. I’ll keep reading and see where it goes from here, but this could genuinely be the perfect kick-off point if you ever wanted to come back and flesh out a character with emotion and growth without falling into the crazy AU stuff that tends to happen in these stories. Make the focus shift to a more cannon HP world with the Merlin elements on top and it’s golden. 10/10.

What was not tolerable, however, were the photos of a four-legged Edmund that now sat framed within McGonagall's office. Apparently, a camera "just happened" to be there that day, a blatant lie McGonagall had not even attempted to obfuscate.
