That's definitely the best SS fan fic out there, it's a shame it doesn't update as often though. Also that author doesn't delete all reviews and only leave the 5 stars ones like this author does.

I already left this novel a positive review, not sure why it reset my reading status to chapter 1 but ignore it. I thought you should know there's a novel on royal road called 'Rise of the Blood Weaver' which says it's inspired by this novel but blatantly takes A LOT more than 'inspiration'...just thought you should know. It feels wrong someone is profiting off what is VERY similar but lower quality to this.

Had anyone else dared question him Harkon would have no doubt been halfway through draining them of all their lifeforce by this point... I hope it's not true that this was dropped, while it's definitely not the best Shadow Slave fanfic out there and I was very skeptical at first and not a fan of power fantasy stuff...I didn't realize how much I liked seeing someone not struggling like Sunny in Shadow Slave. I might not want to read something like this in another fanfic but I hope you keep writing this. Also the good SS fanfic is horrible on updates and the worst one updates frequently with the author deleting all negative reviews

Horizon doesn't hurt innocent people as far as we know, and I really don't like the way he treats villains, and that he's so open about his…kills. But I don't imagine he'd just let someone put cuffs on him without a fight.

I know we haven't seen his parents in a long time but after everything he's done to keep them alive...or I guess honor his contract, it feels wrong if they die. I can't tell what the author will do, I don't really see Star N Stripe fighting him if his parents are dead unless she trash talks them. If they're alive and in America though...different story. Could go either way, I guess.
