Honestly i am not a fan of reading novels, this is the first ever novel I have read. The starting was very engaging and emotional, I cried a lot many times in this story .I had read this book till the part where she left 3ML continuously ,but after that I skipped many chapters till the end of the book. In my opinion this book is both realistic as well as unrealistic at the same time. Lets talk about realistic points first: 1) The way FL is being treated by her her 1 husband and his mother 2) The way FL is treated by her 2nd husbands family, especially because she had a baby boy from her first marriage 3) The way her 3rd husbands family treat her because of her baby boy whom she had with other man(at this point her memory was lost) 4) Her first mother in law was extremely brutal and rude to her because she is not a great beauty, she is orphan and her family was not very rich and they were from village and last thing is that she failed to conceive since last 3 years Unrealistic Points: 1) FL died but come back after her death 2) Continuous tragedies happening in One persons life 3) Majority of Characters were extremely rude with FL and her childrens ,especially her baby boy Still I really like this book , maybe because this is first novel I ever read in my life, I didn't even read my school books like I read this novel. This book disturbed me to the core, and I was actually disturbed for few months until I read another book with a proper happy ending.The character of 1ML is something that I hate and pity at the same time, his life is actually very sad and tragic, I hate cheaters but despite him being a cheater I felt bad for him especially in the last chapter, just reading about his misery,regrets and sadness create darkness in my mind. Lets talk about 1ML: So in the starting and when 1FL talk about their past he is shown as a very bad men, but there are few chapters about there past, from their first encounter to their marriage ,and according to them he is shown as a cold , intelligent, handsome and young CEO.But he is shown to be very soft towards FL ,she is his first in everything ,he was quite possessive towards her as well, but he really cared for her and I really love that whole scenerio until his mother come into the picture, even his father was good towards the FL but mother in law is complete witch. I even feel that only if his mother never pressurized him for the baby and wait for few years without complain then his own son's life would be a happy ending rather then a tragedy where he end up getting old all alone in regrets. He was a good character ,but the biggest mistake he did was to cheat on his wife who was the only person who cared about him,even his own mother don't love him like FL,his coldness was also justified because thats how he was raised since childhood, he was a great student and at young age he start working where else his ages boys were busy enjoying there life,he didn't even had any sibling. He later turned a good husband towards FL but unfortunately it was way too late ,she moved on and she no longer feel the same for him. There is one very powerful and deep scene in the starting chapters where FL asked him that did he ever loved her and he replied No, and there author wrote something like "The heartless words rolled off the man’s tongue and could never be taken back" ,the moment he said these words everything changed ,this No hit FL lead very deeply and just after this moment all her love for 1ML vanished. There are so many ifs in 1ML life but unfortunately things could never be changed and those ifs can never turn into reality. He could get another chance only if he didn't cheat on her and be a little more understanding towards her , but on the bright side after their divorce FL get freedom from that toxic mother in law and 1ML who was delutional that he do not love FL but was just used to her kindness later realized that he only love one women that is FL (but again it was too late for him).He was 27 year old when he divorced FL and since then his life turned into a nightmare ,at the end of the story he was in his late 50s or early 60s,till then he only lived in regrets , sadness and loneliness . Lets talk about 2ML: Well he was a great men who loved FL with whole heart ,but the problem was he failed to love FL first son whom he had with 1ML.He was loyal,loving,caring (exact contrast of 1ML during their marriage) but he was insecure as well and this lead him into destroying his marriage with the most perfect women(FL), he raise his hands on FL and her child and also forced himself on her .But later when she was in her late 30s ,she accept him back after a therepy. Lets talk about 3ML: Well according to me this was the only character who deserved FL, he perfectly handle all situations , he convenience his family to accept her and he even leave his ex girlfriend for FL, his family was also ready to help FL with custody of both her childrens but when FL got her memories back, she was afraid of what happened with her 2nd husband might repeat, therefore she left him and later he married his ex but he never forget about FL , she always hold a special place in his heart. FEMALE LEAD: She is really a very good mannered girl with high morals, she forgave everyone who did bad to her and never wish badluck for anyone.She is a great mother ,she came back after her disappearance (after 3 years) only for her kids,she loved her kids more then anyone, she is independent and she never bought anything from her 1st husbands money but rather bought him gifts with all her money. There were many situation where you might judge her but according to me she did what the situation demanded. For Example: She failed to give attention to both her kids at same time, but to be honest when it comes to her children she was all alone .Her 2nd husband do not want her to contact her 1st child, now tell me how can a mother do that. Well I really wish she end up with 3rd ML because according to me he was just perfect for her, he was loyal ,loving, caring and understanding , he was even ready to take care of her kids but her fears are also justified. One thing I loved the most is that most of the bad characters got perfect karma,Like: 1) FL 1st mother in law 2) FL 2nd father in law 3) 1st husbands mistress(her karma was my favourite one) 4) 2nd MLs 2nd wife as well as his ex girlfriend Overall I liked it but it was way too long and had a lot of bad characters ,but yes because it was very long therefore everything (Backstories of characters, their karma etc)was there, nothing left incompleted.
