I'm at 140 and i am enjoying the novel a bit but to constantly deal with his naive actions over and over even when things are explained to him and how he should act in a cultivation world, he still reacts the same... like bro, how many unreasonable idiots have you met already, surely you should've caught on by now how people act in this world, why you keep whining and explaining yourself and getting butthurt everytime. other than his naivete i have no issue with the novel at all, it;s better than most novels i have read and it's a good read for practically anyone if they can get over his naivete and personality.. 1 thing i still find confusing though and doesn't feel logical to me in context with the world is his supposed naivete. i get that it's been explained how it happened and all but think about it for a second. he was supposedly able to learn things super easily as a kid and was practically famous in the world, his family also seems to be high class so he should have a different upbringing than normal... in my opinion, he should have better communication skills and he should be more in the know about the world and how it works how ugly people can be(especially since he has been practically been insulted for like 5 years when he was bedridden)..., if he lived a somewhat normal life till he was 13, and 13 is a good age to be knowledgable about the world, especially in a technologically advanced society, he shouldn't be as naive and DUMB as he is. another thing that is confusing is he since he is a genius at learning things, he should've been able to pick up on body language, social cues, stuff like that, he should have a much greater degree of common sense of how things should work in the world, even in a cultivation one, so his actions could be perceived to be alot more as him being naive than him just being DUMB. how can you be so kind-hearted and so trusting of people when everybody close to you apart from your sister practically treated you like shit after you were deemed useless and only she stayed around. that should be an even bigger indicator of how people really are and he shouldn't need explanations on how cruel humans can be. maybe it gets better or is explained better later but i feel like the consequences his illness had on him as a person are less than what they should've been, he should feel more than just hating the feeling of moving around in your own body, being depressed about having to live such a life or enjoying the simple things other people wouldn't.

geniunely i feel like this novel couldve been so much better but i have a few issues: 1. I feel like this guy is an idiot, idk, the interactions with the women is weird to me. i dont understand the need to keep up the illusion nonsense with Madelaine, maybe its my pride but the way she thinks she can just have him fuck her and he "not know" is firstly disresepectful and undermining of the Mc's intelligence in my opinion and how she carries herself like she is on this high horse but she is practically a slut in bed and i think it would've been better if she accepted that side of her and their relationship development would've made me much more interested in seeing how it goes. 2. i get the need and use for the transformation technique but i dont see the need for the lie about his identity any longer(im at like chapter 160), i feel like him going for Selina and Monica as Ni Yang is just gonna stew problems and misunderstandings later on...i mean he wants to fuck Selina and Monica as Ni Yang but then also the others as Nexus...,maybe in the in the later chapters the girls would figure it out but i doubt it...anyway 3. i know he is 18 and all and is prone to make mistakes but the way he interacts with this world makes me feel like he is treating this as just some isekai story he inadvertently is in. e.g: how he spares people he should be killing how he doesnt actively search for info on the world at large and how it works. i feel like if Crystal didnt tell him about the world a bit after fucking her, he would've rolled in the city blindly. the way his power and leveling up in power is too abstract and not explained in detail for me too, like how much does he grow when he has sex and all that. i feel like his overall outlook in the world is focusing just on whats in front of him and acting with his desires as the forefront and nothing else
