the mc is actually evil. so the author is not one of those wimpy authors who put villain tag only to write about a wimp with a hero complex, so that earned this novel 2.4/5 stars the problem is everything else. there are a LOT of typos, grammar mistakes, and misgenderings. MCs schemes, while sometimes pretty well thought out, more often than not, need plot armour to work out. which was a disappointment since the "highiq" tag gave me the impression that there would be more realistic schemes that relied more on the intelligence of the plan rather than plot armour. MC is petty and arrogant and has an overinflated opinion of himself. an example would be, Leng Yan, his contact within the law enforcement that covers up his crimes. he publicly showed off by kissing her in public in front of her colleagues, which was a move so braindead. I wonder if the author has any braincells left. by kissing her in public he's now making it infinitely more difficult for Leng Yan to cover up his crimes because now her colleagues know they have a relationship which will make them scrutinise her whenever she tries to cover up a crime that MC commits. and he did all that just to satisfy his petty and foolish pride, so he could get off on showing off. he would've gotten in trouble with the law and died multiple times if not for plot armour. he integrated with a dragon bloodline that was so powerful it would've killed him if not for a random god who randomly noticed MC almost dying due to the bloodline and helped him integrate with it. then a bit later, a female cultivator with a cultivation so high not even the system could evaluate her cultivation comes and tries to threaten MC yet somehow his super high level bloodline caused him to be able to summon fire that scared the female cultivator away. if this ain't plot armor I don't know what is. and lastly lemons. lemons are a great spice to a good story. a s*x scene that last 1-2 chapters every now and then is great. but when you do 4 chapters long lemons, then it's too much spice and it becomes annoying.

I wish I could give it a higher rating. the story has potential, but it is almost nonexistent. I read to 50 chapters before I had to drop it due to overwhelming amounts of boring and overly detailed descriptions of different things and info dumps.

yeah, the authors' other novels are good. I've already read them.
