Why is a king without an heir, who is as weak as an ant, taking a stroll in a forest with deadly creatures by himself in the first place? There is no way anyone would let him go out without at least one strong guard at his side... Any ruler would have guards around him 24/7 just for this case.

I don't understand this.. He's taking a casual stroll but he has his armor with him? and he's able to put it on after hearing a scream? Putting on armor would take at least several minutes depending on how many pieces it is. This all seems very weird. Unless he has a magical inventory and auto equip function but this was not really mentioned so far.

immigrants.. babies would not have been born in half a year. to be honest, half a year does seem very unrealistic. it takes time to spread the word between countries. more so for people to decide to move.

As the kingdom became more popular the kingdom expanded its wall and started building towns outside and connected them with gravel roads. Looking quite luxurious, as Ethan has spent a lot of money building the towns and roads. The populace increased from a measly 3000 to over 15000 people and as such accommodation had to be made.

The system must know that he had the gold. At least the author could make it more believable by adding some extra level of difficulty like not making the grain grow so fast and have them gather enough workforce for plowing or something before they run out of food. Dear author, this quest was just stupid and rushed. A story is not about the destination, it's about the journey. Don't rush so much and keep the system as a side thing. Let the MC learn and grow with the story by solving his own problems.

If they know their families are paid and cared for then they would be more willing to give their lives for their country. Otherwise they would save their own lives at any cost because their families need them to support them. Obviously this could cost you battles and your own soldiers might turn against you if they have to fight against impossible odds.

Ethan ordered William to distribute 1 silver to each deceased soldier's family, and for the surviving soldiers to get 5 silver each for their efforts. It must be noted that 30 copper coins is enough for a family of 5 to survive 2 months. As Ethan gave the order his heart ached at the sight of his money dwindling, thinking about their already poor reserves.

I don't know what kind of Fusion Reactor they have but a fusion reactor is not like a fission reactor, which can blow up like a nuke. Fusion reactors just blow up "normally" and then leak the super heated plasma causing everything in the area to catch fire. But it won't take out entire cities unless through the spreading fire.

As there was no security alert active currently, the main hallways were clear of any obstruction. At any moment, however, the base could be set to high alert, revealing drop down turrets and security doors practically every ten meters along the halls. Were an intruder to somehow find their way into the base, they would almost immediately be trapped in the halls and subject to a host of anti-intruder measures, including sonic waves designed to knock people unconscious, sleeping gas, darts with fast-acting tranquilizers, and other nonlethal incapacitating attacks. For more severe intrusions, lethal measures could also be taken, up to and including detonating the fusion reactor that served as the facility’s beating heart, though that would also wipe out about a quarter of the Puget Sound and accidentally terraform the coastline of the Pacific Northwest.
