Un sabio se presentó ante él y declaró que sólo una pluma del legendario Fenghuang sería capaz de regresar la salud a su amada. Desesperado, el gobernante ofreció una exuberante recompensa a cambio de una sola pluma de aquel ave. ¿Podrá alguien hallar el Fenhuang? ¿O serán víctimas del bandidaje, los enemigos del imperio y las numerosas bestias que rondan en las tinieblas?-Las bases del concurso estipulaban que la historía debía tener entre 1000 a 2000 palabras, por lo que, se considera esta obra finalizada.
