I couldn't understand the way of thinking of the fl at first. But after some time I understand what she was thinking.I am telling you, you will never find a stronger fl than her. Spoiler alert : Fl loved her fiance - second prince, but a transmigrated women (who is unique for main lead and second prince) got married with his fiance - second prince. She kidnapped main lead and do some shitty thinks which she shouldn't . As a revenge main lead marry her so he can torture her. But he lost as the fl is powerfull. Then slowly they become tolerable towards each other then because friends. (Main lead is not second prince but his friend, a general).

I really really enjoyed this story! A story of slow development into true love of two characters who started off not liking each other. The FL is strong and rather feisty with a vicious streak, and I like that the ML sees and accepts that about her. Long chapters but short total number of chapters. I loved the happy ending and the bonus point of view chapter of the ML. I just wish we could have seen what their future life (with hopefully their kids) looked like!

I read this novel after it was completed, so I don't know how it's updates were, but I can say it is a good novel. Honestly, I was in a lot of pain and cried when MC lost her baby. After that, she even tried to hide it from ML because she hated herself. I think this novel honestly does a great job at how someone can lose their self-esteem after life hits them with emotions and after being a puppet for a long time. I know that it is the normal thing for people of the past to always hide their true emotions behind a smile and that girls needed to learn many skills, but I think MC is just a great embodiment of the true feelings someone can hold at the time. Though, what I love most is how the ML came to love her true and real self. Honestly, ML is super great because he's trying to improve her self-esteem and make her think more positively of herself. I would have been so sad if MC actually succeeded at committing suicide, but then again, I would have still loved the story because her dying would still fit the plot.

A one of a kind of historical-romance story that driven by a law of transmigrated character to the ancient Chinese themed novel. The original story is about the main male lead and 2nd lead who fallen in love with transmigrated female characters that appeared to have a unique ability (modern knowledge). However, the villainess who isn't blessed with 'unique' talent much ended with tragedy. The law made her appears 'less appealing' to the male leads as she is 'no different' from ancient ladies at that time. But that is in the memory of the villainess who also had a fragment of modern memory (but useless) as well as original story memories. The story made me realize how I've been rather prejudiced all this time to the non-transmigrated characters. And I came to be attracted to the character who is less blessed and op through this story. It had sent me on the edge as we know the fate befalls on the main character of a story, the villainess. Yet, the story takes to turn into a quite realistic approach of the villainess character. What makes the story engaging is how we could see the villainess is conscious and frustrated with her 'villain role' while fighting her 'fate' to find her happiness. Despite the frustration of her 'role' and less 'unique', the villainess embraces it fully as something that 'not to be ashamed' toward those who looked down. Yet, she is an unshakable character who stays true as a 'villain' to the core as she schemed on the 2nd male lead as an act of revenge in place of her unrequited love (original male lead). Weirdly, the tiny bits of wicked actions are somewhat understandable in a twisted way, which kind of sad. I do dislike her for that but along the way, I empathize with her as she deserved happiness too. And the ignorance of the 'actual' leads toward others is something I resented. I had to say, the author had executed well a rather bittersweet love story that blooms from revenge. It had an efficient emotional build up as the main couple's journey would be more intense as they slowly notice of their blooming emotions that grow from their 'revenge' toward each other. At the same time, a dilemma spurt as the vilainess become more insecure as she have been conscious of her 'role' and 'fate' she had known all along. All in all, the story had successfully designed the villainess perfectly by using 3rd person limited pov. It had me anxious about how 2nd male lead truly thought about her through this pov. Still, his ambiguous dialogue and actions are much more engaging to speculate what he thought.
