You will scarcely find a translator lf this quality in any novel unless they are a professional. I used to read this years ago and it was only recently I caught up to the latest chapter and it pains me greatly when I see it on hiatus. The story starts off amazingly, with exceptional world building introducing a system of factional politics I have not seen in any other novel. Sadly after the main character defeats his enemies on Earth, the story turns a bit cheaper with more depictions of Chinese cultivation being prevalent everywhere. I miss the times when you could see a European army and an Russian one fighting with their own personality and characteristics but now all enemies outside of Earth follow the same Chinese culture and upbringing, with few otherworldly cultures mixed in. The stories characters in the beginning had their own independence of thought, ambitions, goals, but they slowly become the Emperors yes men, or they die. Women went from ambitious people who cornered him, forcing him to use schemes, to being pretty much glass wives in his castle. They never leave it. Overall one of my favorite political, war, kingdom building novels and I can not find a novel that can be comparable or similar to this one in it’s world.

What started as an interesting premise quickly devolved into a cesspool of what was basically copy/pasted encounters and plot armor. Unfortunately, and more importantly disgustingly, the specific plot armor used unceasingly in this novel is r*pe. Want to conquer a kingdom - r*pe a few women, conquered a kingdom - r*pe a few hundred women, want to make your kingdom stronger - r*pe a few thousand women, want to get a better bloodline - r*pe few hundred women, about to die - r*pe a woman, want explosive growth in power - r*pe a woman, do the women who's kingdoms you conquered hate and want to kill you for murdering everyone they've ever known and loved - r*pe them into obedience and they'll love you instead. I could go on, but I think you get the point. Other than that, story just stops - long before the chapters stop. There's an immense lack of character growth, plot progression, and world building. There are plot holes and loose threads everywhere. Nothing is resolved. There's only r*pe. If I could give this story 0 stars I would.
