Really racist. Basically Chinese means Han Chinese and you need to understand the glory of the Han. Especially if you are Japanese. Also, if you are a Manchu your ancestors are evil for ruling over the great Han the true Chinese. China that was ruled by outsiders and defeated by Japanese can rise to glory because they learn from mistakes but if you are African im afraid you are stupid. India is second strongest to China because their population is high lol... It seems history has always been wrong....Lets all glorify Han Chinese together because their population is the highest and thus they are the strongest.

Loved it. I read it twice, the first one is when the novel is not completely translated I've gone to the Machine translated sites just to finish it. Then 1 year later I've read it again because I think no kingdom building novel is quite detailed such as this. By the way the 2nd time it is fully translated so I enjoyed it more.

Overall a decent book, Moves a little slow for me though. But if you're really into kingdom building this is the book for you. I just wish the story progressed a little faster for my tastes. Not saying it's a bad thing, the book was good, just a little slow for me.

I just really enjoyed this entire story beginning to end, it was a long time coming out but was worth the wait between chapters. I highly recommend this.

Quick blurb: Chinese history + SAO + kingdom builder. I want to make it clear that this story is pure kingdom builder with doses of action dotted here and there from the MC or the MC's army. We watch the MC build an empire from scratch going against other players (but with a little cheat) all whilst locked within VR. I liked the story overall but there were some issues I had but albeit minor ones such as the massive information dumps in relation to the historical backgrounds of the plot, the MC never loses not even once + more that I can't think of. If you're into kingdom builders but you want a little VRMMORPG mixed elements as well, I think this will fill your needs.

The Story has a good flow with great and relatable characters with understandable relationships and the action scenes are interesting with excitement and flair

pretty good world background. the things that bothers me is that the mc is too kind to the peasants. its one thing to be kind and another to let them live in your house. another is that some of the parts don't make sense. you say you have 90 natural farmers but later you change them to builders, fishermen, and soldiers. does that make sense?

I am just loving it. The book is awesome except .it contains to much of chinese history so its boring to understand and explore it rest is good

(Only the picture can spoil) What to say ? The World Online is a great light novel that mixes up so many good things. First: the creation of a village / country / empire with its management and internal sapilitics which evolves throughout the story in the same way as its relations with the foreigner. Then come the military and the battlefields which are superb described and engaging. By adding a touch of history (especially Chinese but not only), of endearing character, of cultivation and of an incredible and very well constructed scenario; the rendering is just so beautiful that I shed a tear when I couldn't click on the "Next chapter" button anymore. I really recommend it, sometimes you have to hang on because of the multitude of characters and their Chinese names, which are not always easy to remember, and provinces but if you hang on, the story is so worth it. (I took a blank border map of the world that I updated every time I had information in the chapters, it helped me a lot to visualize the whole world. I put it here)
