You spilling water on your laptop, and breaking it reminds me of the time I broke my mom’s phone. It was dinner time and I wanted to check something on my mom’s phone. After finish checking it, I handed it back, but I dropped the phone in the fish! In the end, I ruined a plate of perfectly good fish and my mom’s phone. :D

Oh dear, did the laptop not waking up or just the keyboard? my sister watery phone did get merged in rice and most of the water gone. you could use gentle hairdryer too. silica gel also helps to grab the moisture.
