Beyond that, there are a number of things to enjoy - the allusions to the fact that this is set in our own world, the interesting power system that draws heavily from mythology while also being internally self-consistent and relatively unique, the character development and interactions, particularly when it pertains to how characters can behave both horribly and in a saintly manner due to the circumstances surrounding them ... all of these are great. Even the humor is pretty great. I will say that this story needs a bit more breather chapters - things seem to be all action or all drama all the time.

Easily one of my favorite novel. The cultivation system in this is loose, everchanging, and just like it should be, heaven defying. also, the main character is an actual mediocre talent. He works hard to get to the top, and even then he may not be the best.

A true master piece, different from everything out there. If you want to read something really new, i strongly recommend it this novel. I has everything a good story should have.

one of the best novels I've read so far. the story is great and the plot is so amazing. the thing i like the most is that the MC is not using an inherited weapon but instead he is using his own and upgrades it as his strength progresses. i definitely recommend this novel to everyone.
